At the forum ”Fish in the catering sector“ on Monday 22 February 2010 from 11.30 to 13.30 experts from this sector will discuss the desire for more fish on the menu whilst at the same time paying attention to sustainability and profitability aspects.
Suitable products for gastronomy and community catering will be on show in the section “Trading Market” in Halls 5 and 6.

fish international will take place in Halls 5, 6 and 7 of the Bremen Exhibition Centre from Sunday 21 February to Tuesday 23 February 2010.
Within an area measuring about 600 square metres the participating companies will present their products and outstanding counter concepts – a good opportunity not only to present their product portfolio but also to come into contact with the industry.
The fair’s key focus ‘sustainability’ will run through the whole event. It will be picked up in the grocery forum, for example, which will examine sustainability from various angles and demonstrate how sustainability dialogue can be encouraged between producers in the fish industry and grocery sector.
Professional visitors from all segments of the fish industry, trade and catering come to the Bremen fish fair to obtain information, keep in touch with existing customers, establish new contacts and discuss the latest topics in the industry.
The exhibition is divided into the four sections Trading Market, Processing, Point of Sale, and Logistics with the special topic ‘Sustainability’ running through all of them.
Within the topic block ‘Aquaculture’ it will be possible to gain information on sustainable and energy-efficient fish production in recirculation systems – for example at the stand of International Fish Farming Technology (IFFT) GmbH.
